This breed is very reliable with children. With proper care and enough exercise, these dogs tend to live a long life. They adjust to living in an apartment and do not demand much grooming. Without early socialization and firm obedience training, they may become difficult to deal with. Lack of socialization and training in these dogs may result in aggression or timidity. Puppies obtained from reliable breeders make better pets than those obtained from puppy mills, dealers or backyard breeders, because only devoted specialists care for the improvement of the breed and produce only high quality pups.
