Generally speaking, these dogs are easy-keepers. They don’t need any special grooming but occasional rubdowns with a cloth to keep the coat shiny and good looking. These dogs do well indoors, but need daily walks and enough exercise to stay in shape. Early training and socialization is a must for these dogs, because otherwise they may be dangerous. These dogs with their short coat cannot stand extreme temperatures. Their short muzzle makes humid climate uncomfortable for them. It’s dangerous to leave these canines in hot areas, for instance, in a car, because they are susceptible to heart attacks.

His back remains level when he moves for efficiency and endurance. These dogs have compact and powerful bodies with shiny coats that fit close to their skin. They come in a variety of colors including brindle, fawn, and various shades of red. Some also have white markings. Most show dogs have docked tails.
